Our people work at consumer premises every day. Their safety governs how we operate.
Meter reading and bill distribution place our teams at hundreds of consumer premises daily, often close to live installations. Safety is therefore an operational requirement, not a statement of intent.
Statutory Worker Protection
Every deployed worker is engaged under Provident Fund, ESI and Labour Licence coverage. Statutory protection is not optional on our contracts.
Supervised Deployment
Field teams operate under dedicated supervisors and project managers, with allocated routes and daily reporting rather than unsupervised individual working.
ISO 45001
Occupational Health & Safety Management
ISO 45001 is the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems. Our certification covers the environment our workforce actually operates in: consumer premises, distribution boards and metering installations across three states.
The certificate is issued to PENTWARE COMPUTER and is provided to utilities and procurement authorities on request, alongside our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 certification.

Field Safety Practice
How safety is applied on the ground
Allocated routes
Readers work to allocated routes rather than ad-hoc territory, so a supervisor always knows where each team member is expected to be.
Daily reporting
Field activity is reported daily and geo-tagged through the handheld device, creating a record of every consumer premises visited.
Supervisory ratio
Ten supervisors and seven project managers oversee the deployed field workforce across active territories.
Additional safety documentation — including our training and incident procedures — is shared directly with utilities and procurement authorities during tender evaluation.
